Here we are!! Another year ahead of us!!
I'm looking so forward to this year. Many great things on the horizon!!

We started out the year with a wedding at Vesica Pisces. Such a great venue. Very peaceful, clean, friendly, and pretty. The theme was peacock. The olive green satin sashes were so beautiful. They matched the irredescent napkins. The table linens were accordian taffeta and were a beautiful teal blue. Dark teal. The florals were by Bridal Garden.

This week, we move on to Philbrook. If you haven't visited Philbrook, you should!! It is so beautiful. The grounds are used frequently by photographers for the beautiful setting of the landscaping. Philbrook history is very interesting. This use to be someone's home. Of course, they have added on to it over the years, once it became a museum.

The theme for this wedding is RED. Red satin sashes and runners will spark up this wedding reception.

Candleabras .......... ew la la

Introducing the ideas of candleabras!! If you could pick the candleabra for your tables at the wedding reception, what would they look like???

The Cover Girls is researching the idea of adding new candleabra's to our inventory. We have the most beautiful candleabra's you have ever seen. These could eliminate the need for florals or they could accent the florals. Either way, let me know what you think of these few samples. There will be more samples for you to see!!!!

What beautiful weather here in Tulsa !!

The Cover Girls, LLC participated in the NE OK Perfect Wedding Guide show on September 25th!! It was the largest attendance for them! Melissa worked really hard to make it a great success. Congrats!

We displayed our newest table linen choice. White with black ribbon taffeta. It is very beautiful and many brides were interested!! We used black rouged chair covers with red bands to accent. The table had a silver and black table chandelier. Candles galore were on the table. Black chargers with white square plates and black and white napkins with silver napkin rings. It was a very elegant table. I'm not the greatest photographer!! Its an iphone pic. : )

Black and white is such an elegant presentation!! You can accent simply or more elaborate. This set up was done at the Ambassador Hotel in the Tuscan room!!! I can tell you that the entire room set up in black and white is just beautiful. If you are looking for a great intimate setting for a small reception, rehearsal dinner, shower, etc., please contact Josh at the Chalkboard.

2011 Summer Weddings!!!

Where do we begin? Could it be the wedding in the country lodge?? Lots of color. Deep purple, orange, fuchsia, turquoise, lime green sashes, with coordinating polka dot runners! Skelly Lodge hosted a wedding that lasted until at least 4:00 a.m. It was beautiful weather. Skelly Lodge is a great serene setting for a wedding and reception. This wedding also hosted a cappuccino bar. The wedding cake was truly as whimsical as the sashes and runners. This truly had to be one of my favorites since these polka dot linens are my personal all time favorite. This is due to the fact that they are "outside the normal traditional box". The family involved had a great time and I have to admit that it was a lot of fun to set this wedding up for such a great couple. : ))

OR........what about the very formal Tiffany blue, crystals everywhere??? Bling was the theme and it was a huge huge event. This wedding was hosted in the RSC Centennial Building. This is a new facility and will accommodate smaller to huge weddings. This was our second wedding at this facility. No detail was missed at this wedding. It was nothing short of very traditional and elegant. It was truly a pleasure. AND, if you are looking for a fantastic wedding coordinator, Sharon Holm is your girl. She orchestrated this wedding with ease.

The other wedding we had at RSC was Jade and White Crystal Organza. The florals were exceptional and everything was beautiful. Their cake was possibly the prettiest I've seen in a long time. The set up was great, the look was formal and the bride truly had everything planned perfectly.

I have to admit that I'm behind on many of my weddings for the blog. More later. Stay tuned. I have more to write about and I will begin to post pics too. It has been my busiest season and it has been a lot of hard work and yet it has also been great fun and I've met the most amazing people. I'm truly blessed to have the opportunity to work for such great people. : )

March Madness

The Cover Girls, LLC gave a presentation at the Tulsa Wedding Society on March 16th. Its always great to see everyone at these weekly meetings. So many great vendors are involved. If you need a videographer, TWS has the best!! If you need photographers, TWS has the best and so on. Please take a look at our vendor links and see if there is anyone that could help you complete your planning!!

The Cover Girls, LLC has also been very busy booking weddings. Our calendar year is flowing well into the fall months. We have so many great weddings planned. I'm really excited about the decor choices the brides are making. Some of the creativity involved is just great!! We are seeing a lot of color. Seems as though most brides are choosing what THEY want rather than following a trend.

The Cover Girls, LLC is also now looking into expanding our chair cover needs/requests to include chair caps/sleeves. The ideas for these are endless. We have lots of ideas and access to all the beautiful fabrics. So, AGAIN..........IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, we can make it happen!!! Stay tuned!!!! : ))

Please visit our booth on March 6th at the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show!! Its being held again at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. This location is new and very beautiful. You will find it to be a great location for a great bridal show. There is plenty of parking, several locations for a nice lunch and the building itself is gorgeous and filled with many great collections from musical artists.

The show will feature many vendors from the Tulsa Wedding Society, as well as many other very talented vendors. Door prizes will be and have always been great!! You will have a great time. Its a relaxed atmosphere with no pipe and drapes. There will be seating scattered throughout the ballroom and in the halls.

February 2011 has proven to be very busy so far!! We are working closely with our vendor to provide you with all the latest fabrics for overlays and sashes. We are always searching for new trends and colors. Currently, PLUM is a very popular color. You can use silver with this color and it is beautiful!! We also have a new ballerina table linen that is just the cutest!!

The Cover Girls, LLC participated in the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show. There were so many beautiful brides that attended. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to many of these brides!!!

I took pictures of my booth and featured some new products we are now offering. Below is a list of some of our new products.

The Cover Girls, LLC proudly present the polka dot organza sashes, runners and overlays. These polka dots are our signature and favorites. They add charm, sassiness and class to your event!! Pictures coming soon!!! Look for them this next week.

Pearl Organza Overlays are also one of our newly added products. We have them in several colors and think they add the class and sophistication you will love! We have used these at the newly renovated Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa. Please phone us for an appointment to vew these beautiful new overlays. You can add a satin coordinating sash and make the splash of color enhance any table. Should you want matching sashes, we can also accommodate that. Attached is one of our pictures that showcase these beautiful new overlays.
